Shalomania follows a unitary system of government with only one president being elected to rule the entire country. Shalomania has a democratic form of government where the people elect a representative for a certain period; therefore, it is fair for all people to vote for who they want to win. This elected leader has the most power among all other government positions, although when passing new laws, tariffs, etc., it must go through a series of other government officials to make sure that it has only a positive effect on the people.
Our country currently does not have any border disputes, but we do have an ongoing feud with one of our neighboring countries, International Pho. This dispute is not for border control or land use issues. Currently, Shalomania is not a part of any supranational organizations, but that doesn't mean we do not interact with other countries. Our country has an ongoing trade agreement with State #3, and Shalomania has teamed up with other countries such as Gilbreath and Bajaland to go against the MNI
Most of the borders of Shalomania are set because of Shalomania being located on the coast, but the other inland borders were created by landscapes such as mountains and rivers.
Our country does not contain any nationless states or states that want independence. All of the people in Shalomania live in harmony because all citizens get to vote for who they would like to have as a leader.
The biggest issue that Shalomania struggles with is air pollution. Since Shalamnonia does lots of industrialized work, the biggest issue it struggles with is the emissions going back into the atmosphere, leading to lots of chemical intake for its citizens. Globalization does not have much of an effect in helping resolve this issue since it's only prominent in Shalomania and not in other states. Air pollution is not only bad for the environment, but it is extremely detrimental to humans if inhaled in large amounts. Since air pollution is a problem not only in Shalomania but worldwide, Shalomania has teamed up with other countries to help create the NAPP (National Air Pollution Prevention). This organization has created an international plan to help other countries worldwide. This plan is to replace most, if not all, fossil fuels with renewable resources like air and energy in the next couple of years. This will make it so that fossil fuels like oil, coal, and gas all become extinct since they are the leading cause of air pollution in today's society.
